There are so many ways for you or your school to get involved with FG. We need you and your voice to help ignite this movement for young women today and start demanding better for ourselves and our sisters. No matter how big or small your involvement, thank you so much for believing in our message and our mission.

TAKE ACTION

The most important way for you to show support for FG is to BE a fearless girl! There is a ton of pressure for girls today to be or act a certain way – and it’s impossible (and dangerous) to try to live up to all the unrealistic expectations. It’s vital to step out of your comfort zone, take risks, be a leader and do things differently. And encourage your friends to do the same!

So if you are dreaming of joining the basketball team, writing your novel, running for student council, joining a band, starting a business, or pressing a crazy, huge awesome dream, DO IT! In the name of all things fearless, take a risk, we’ve got your back!

SPREAD THE WORD

The most important way for us to get the word out is through girls like YOU! We need fearless ambassadors to walk the walk and talk the talk, and maybe even tweet a little too! Please throw a little social media love our way and keep your peeps updated on what we are up to, share blog posts that you enjoy, and share any and all the goodies on our Facebook page. This is how us 21st Century girls do it!

We are looking for Canadian girls between the ages of 13-19 who are enrolled in high school and passionate about girls issues, leadership, entrepreneurship, giving back and taking action to create change. If you are interested in joining our team, find out more here.

Love to write? Have an opinion to share? Challenging yourself to be a little more fearless and want to share your journey? Interested in finding other fearless girls and interviewing them? We would LOVE to hear from you!

TELL US WHY YOU ARE FEARLESS

Tell the world why you are fearless! Record a video completing the sentence, “I am fearless because…” and upload it to YouTube, then post it on our facebook page (or email us the link!). Encourage your friends, family, teachers, etc to get in on it too! If videos aren’t your thing, get a blank piece of paper, and create a sign telling the world why you are fearless and take a picture of you holding it up.

START A CHAPTER

Check out the “On Campus” tab to find out how to start and run your very own FearlesslyGiRL On Campus Chapter and facilitate campaigns, meetings, events and programs for the younger girls at your school! (Plus there are a ton of great opportunities and scholarships available as a Chapter Leader!)

SHARE YOUR ADVICE

What is the one thing you, as a teen girl, want to tell your peers? What is the ONE thing you wish every girl knew? What message you provide girls with across the country? LIVE FEARLESSLY

Get involved with issues that are important to you, speak your mind, stand up for what you believe in, express yourself authentically, follow your dreams, dream even bigger, take time for yourself, redefine what is beautiful, be an example, respect yourself, respect others, do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do, be a leader, trust your instincts, do something that scares you, follow your heart, love deeply, forgive, let go, move on, grow, smile often, give a compliment, be kind, do good even when nobody is looking, don’t let “no” discourage you, find out who you are and be that person on purpose, be grateful, define yourself before others do, and blaze a trail, fearlessly.
